SCC Driver’s Education classes are certified by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for the Provisional Operators Permit (POPs) and will waive the written and drive exam for 16 - 17 year olds. Web based training classes will count towards the state required classroom sessions. You have the option of taking the Adult Driver’s Education course, if you so choose. We will continue teaching the 30 hours of teen classroom drivers education and 4 hours of Driver-Zed through a web based, instructor led classroom via Zoom.

  • It is not required to take the Adult Driver’s Education course but we do recommend it.
  • You can then take the ADE-1317 certificate along with the appropriate paperwork to the DPS office to get your learner’s permit. Once you have completed the 6-hour course, you will be issued an ADE-1317 (completion of an approved Adult Driver’s Education course) certificate.
